Cowboys Open Fall Slate At Pebble Beach

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. - Oklahoma State's men's golf team will get its 2014 fall schedule underway this weekend when it begins play at the fourth annual Carmel Cup.
The event will take place at historic Pebble Beach Golf Links and will consist of 54 holes beginning Friday and running through Sunday. The Cowboys will get their first round underway at 10:10 a.m. (PST) and will be grouped with Vanderbilt, Texas Tech and Georgia.
South Carolina, TCU, Arkansas and Oklahoma will also be in action at the par-72, 7,040-yard layout.
The Cowboys starting lineup will feature three players making their collegiate debuts. Redshirt freshmen Brendon Jelley and Stratton Nolen as well as true freshman Sam Stevens will all be making their first starts for OSU. That trio will be joined by sophomores Wyndham Clark and Zachary Olsen.
