STILLWATER, Okla. - "How I Got Here" is a series that asks Oklahoma State football players to detail their football background and careers and how they got to where they are now. Today's edition features quarterback Daxx Garman from Southlake, Texas.

On how he got started playing football
"I got started playing in third grade and I loved it so I never stopped playing."
On his favorite thing about playing quarterback
"Throwing the ball and letting our receivers make great plays is my favorite thing about playing quarterback."
On his decision to attend Oklahoma State
"After transferring from Arizona, I was looking for a place that would fit me best. Oklahoma State recruited me while I was in high school and I felt like it fit me best here."
On goals for this summer
"I'm focusing on staying healthy right now and getting ready for the Florida State game."
