On how he got started playing football
"I started playing football in middle school because all my friends played football and I loved sports. I wanted to play when I was younger but my mom was always afraid I would get hurt."
On his biggest influence
"Coach Schroder and Coach Heath, who were two of my coaches in highschool, had the biggest influence on my life growing up because they always kept me interested in playing sports."
On the decision to walk on
"I have always loved football and didn't want to quit playing. I actually grew up in Norman and an OU fan but it didn't take me long after arriving here to realize how wrong I was growing up."
