Cowboys Receive All-Region Honors

NORMAN, Okla. - Five members of Oklahoma State's men's golf team received Ping All-Region honors it was announced today by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Earning the distinction for the Cowboys were seniors Ian Davis and Talor Gooch as well as sophomore Jordan Niebrugge, redshirt freshman Wyndham Clark and true freshman Zachary Olsen.
For Gooch, it marked the third consecutive season he has received the honor, while Davis and Niebrugge were tabbed for the second year in a row.
Davis has posted four top 10s during his final campaign. The Edmond, Okla., native has finished fourth on three occasions this season en route to earning first-team All-Big 12 honors as well.
Gooch has posted four top-five finishes this season, including a runner-up showing in the Cowboys' victory at the NCAA Columbia Regional. The Midwest City, Okla., native also tied for third at the Big 12 Championship on his way to all-league honors.
Niebrugge logged his first career victory this past spring at the Amer Ari Invitational and has finished in the top 10 on five other occasions. The Mequon, Wis., native also tied for second at the NCAA Columbia Regional and was an all-league performer this season.
Named the Big 12 Player of the Year, Clark reeled off a string of seven consecutive top-six finishes earlier this year. A pair of runner-up showings capped that string for the Denver, Colo., native.
Olsen's first collegiate campaign has included three top 10s. The Memphis, Tenn., native's best finish was a tie for third place at the John Hayt Collegiate.
