Wyndham Clark Named Big 12 Player of the Year

IRVING, Texas - Oklahoma State's Wyndham Clark was named the Big 12 Player of the Year and was one of four Cowboy golfers named to the league's all-conference squad it was announced today.
With his selection, Clark became the 11th Cowboy and first since Peter Uihlein in 2011 to win the award.
The Denver, Colo., native is currently No. 9 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings. This season, Clark reeled off a string of seven consecutive top-six finishes, including runner-up showings at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate, Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters and the National Invitational Tournament. Overall, he has eight finishes inside the top six.
The Big 12 Player of the Year is automatically selected as the highest ranked individual from the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings following the league championship.
Clark was joined on the All-Big 12 Team by seniors Ian Davis and Talor Gooch as well as sophomore Jordan Niebrugge.
The Cowboys will find out their NCAA Regional destination on Monday, May 5.
