Green Earns Academic All-District Honors

Oklahoma State junior Gage Green has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District 7 First Team, it was announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
An outfielder/catcher for the Cowboys, Green carries a 3.44 grade point average in Human Performance-Exercise and Health and is a two-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team performer.
On the field, Green is second on OSU with a .302 batting average and a .415 on-base percentage. The Wichita Falls, Texas native is also tied for sixth in the Big 12 with 13 stolen bases, which equals his career high of a year ago.
The 2014 Capital One Academic All-District Baseball Teams are selected by members of CoSIDA and recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
The Academic All-District teams are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
