STILLWATER, Okla. – "How I Got Here" is a series that asks Oklahoma State football players to detail their football background and careers and how they got to where they are now. Today's edition features defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah from Houston, Texas.

On why he started playing football
“I started playing football in seventh after I went to my friend's spring practice and I decided I could play too.”
On what position he grew up playing
“I grew up playing tight end and fullback.”
On his favorite part of playing defensive end
“I love getting off the ball and rushing the quarterback.”
On his biggest influence growing up
“My brother is my biggest influence because he has always pushed me to be the best I can be.”
On why he chose Oklahoma State
“When I came on my visit, I fell in love with the people and the town. My visit was a lot of fun and the coaches were great too.”
On his college career to this point and the future
“So far my college career has been great. It's been an amazing experience so far and I got to play for the first time last year. I'm really looking forward to this next season.”
