Seedings Announced for Big 12 Wrestling Championship

NORMAN, Okla. -- The brackets are set for the 2014 Big 12 Wrestling Championships, hosted by the University of Oklahoma in McCasland Field House. The Pokes enter the tournament with five No. 1 seeds.
OU has three top seeds, while Iowa State and West Virginia each have one.
Earning No. 1 seeds for the Pokes are Jon Morrison (133), Alex Dieringer (157), Tyler Caldwell (165), Nolan Boyd (184) and Austin Marsden (285).
Four Pokes enter the tourney as the No. 2 seeds in Eddie Klimara (125), Anthony Collica (141), Josh Kindig (149) and second-ranked Chris Perry (174).
Blake Rosholt comes in carrying the No. 3 seed at 197 pounds.
For the Sooners, Jarrod Patterson (125), Kendric Maple (149) and top-ranked Andrew Howe (174) earned the top seeds in the tourney.
ISU's Kyven Gadson is the No.1 seed at 197 pounds and Colin Johnston (141) carries the Mountaineers' lone No. 1 seed.
