STILLWATER, Okla. – "How I Got Here" is a series that asks Oklahoma State football players to detail their football background and careers and how they got to where they are now. Today's edition features wide receiver Jhajuan Seales, from Port Arthur, Texas.

On how he started to play football
"I started when I was pretty young. I grew up playing on the street with my friends, and we got tired of playing on the streets and we joined a team in the city. We really got going with that."
On who influenced him most to start playing
"My mom used to watch me and my brother play with our friends, and she said that since we played all the time, it was time for us to join a team."

On becoming a wide reciever
"I started off as a running back. When I got to middle school, with my height, they moved me to receiver. I couldn't move back to running back so I said, 'This is my position.'"

"Andre Johnson, Chad Ochocinco, Dez Bryant and Justin Blackmon. I also really like Calvin Johnson."

On what he enjoys most about playing wide receiver
"I love running down the field, catching the deep ball, going up against a defender and grabbing the balls, and breaking tackles and running for touchdowns."
