Oklahoma State vs Texas Tech

• Oklahoma State's defense held the Red Raiders to just 25 first-half points, the fewest by a Cowboy opponent in the last 10 games.
• With 11 points vs Texas Tech, senior guard Markel Brown moved into the top-10 on the OSU career scoring list. He moved past Ivan McFarlin (1,526 points) and now has 1,534 points, good for 10th on the list.
• Junior wing Le'Bryan Nash moved into 23rd place on the OSU career scoring list with 21 points against Tech today. He moved past Kevin Fitzgerald (1,220 points) and now has 1,231 in his career. He was 7 of 8 from the floor, the highest percentage by a Cowboy with at least six makes this season.
• Sophomore guard Marcus Smart recorded a double-double in points and assists with 16 and 10, respectively. He is the first Cowboy to do so since Byron Eaton had 15 points and 10 dimes against Pittsburgh in the NCAA Tournament on March 22, 2009. His 10 assists are a career high.
• Smart also recorded six steals against Texas Tech, tying for the most ever by a Cowboy vs the Red Raiders. Chianti Roberts also had six against TTU on Jan. 8, 1997, in the inaugural season of the Big 12 Conference. It also matched his steal total over his last five games since a four-steal effort at Kansas.
• with four three-pointers made today, Phil Forte now has 77 on the season, moving him past John Lucas (75 in 2003-04) and into 12th place on the OSU single-season three-pointers made list. He needs just four treys to move into the top 10.
• Oklahoma State recorded 20 assists for the first time in Big 12 Conference action this season. The last time OSU dished out 20 assists was against Robert Morris in the non-conference finale.
• The Cowboys recorded 21 points off turnovers against Texas Tech, the most since recording 23 against West Virginia on Jan. 25, a span of eight games.
• Oklahoma State scored 50 points after halftime for the first time since the Memphis win on Nov. 19.
