December 11, 2014 | Cowboy Baseball
Busy with holiday shopping? Don't forget to take care of the Cowboy Baseball fan on your list with tickets to the upcoming Oklahoma State Baseball First Pitch Banquet!
The 2015 First Pitch Banquet is set for January 30 at 6 p.m. in OSU's Wes Watkins Center. Tickets are $60 per individual or a reserved table for 10 is $1,000. Children ages 14-and-under are $20. Tickets can be purchased here.
The banquet will honor the two newest members of the Cowboy Baseball Hall of Fame, Jeff Guiel and Rusty McNamara, as well as celebrate the current crop of players on head coach Josh Holliday's defending Big 12 champion ballclub.
Additionally, Cowboy baseball will be hosting an alumni event following the banquet, and all former players and staff are encouraged to attend.
Need more reason to come? How about live and silent auctions where you can bid on numerous exciting items, including autographed memorabilia from the likes of Holliday, Gary Ward, Jordy Mercer, Pete Incaviglia, Andrew Heaney and others.
Other auction items include:
• Autographed items from OSU football and basketball
• Golf packages
• Dinner with the OSU coaching staff
• Throwing out the first pitch at a regular season game at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium
• Game tickets and hotel stays for 2015 OSU road games
• Tickets to St. Louis Cardinals, Boston Red Sox and Colorado Rockies games in 2015
• Boots from The Territory as well as numerous items from other local Stillwater businesses
The auctions are another great way to show your support of Cowboy Baseball as last year the banquet auctions raised over $23,000 for the program!
"The last two years we've had sellout crowds for both banquets," Holliday said. "We really appreciate the support of our fans and their help on raising money to support our program. We're looking forward to another great night of the Cowboy Baseball family coming together to celebrate our history and embrace our current team. I love the energy this event creates for our players as they realize the passion that exists for Cowboy Baseball."
