Niebrugge Finishes 12th At All-America Classic

EL PASO, Texas - Oklahoma State's Jordan Niebrugge posted a 69 on Sunday at the Sun Bowl Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic to finish alone in 12th place at El Paso Country Club.
Niebrugge finished the 54-hole event with a 1-under total of 213 to come in two shots behind Lorens Chan of UCLA and Alabama's Robby Shelton.
New Mexico's Gavin Green rolled to a seven-shot victory at the par-71, 6,889-yard layout, posting a 66 during his third round to finish at 14-under 199.
During his final round, Nierbugge carded birdies on two of his first three holes before back-to-back bogeys at the seventh and eighth led to an even-par 36 on his outward nine.
The Cowboy junior moved back into red figures with a birdie at the par-5 13th. After his lone bogey of the inward nine at No. 14, Niebrugge birdied the 15th and 17th to get to 2-under for his round.
