The Cowboys were a perfect 6-0 against teams from the Lone Star State in 2013, highlighted by convincing road wins at No. 15 Texas Tech and at No. 23 Texas plus a 49-17 pounding of No. 3 Baylor in Stillwater.
The Pokes are 2-2 vs. Texas-based schools this season, with wins over UTSA and Texas Tech.
LAST YEAR'S MEETING - OKLAHOMA STATE 49, NO. 3 BAYLOR 17
Playing in front of the first sellout crowd in Boone Pickens Stadium history, Oklahoma State's defense forced three turnovers and held Baylor 44 points and 231 yards below its season averages in recording one of the most lopsided wins ever over a team ranked in the top three of the Associated Press poll.
Quarterback Clint Chelf earned national player of the week honors after completing 19-of-25 passes for 370 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. He added a 48-yard reception that set up a touchdown and he rushed for a score as well.

LAST TIME OUT - TEXAS 28, OKLAHOMA STATE 7
Oklahoma State's defense played well enough to keep Texas within striking range, but the Cowboys were unable to generate many scoring opportunities and lost a 28-7 decision to the Longhorns in Boone Pickens Stadium.
Texas scored on each of its first three drives to seize control of the game and the Longhorns' defense held the Cowboys in check throughout the day as OSU totaled 192 yards of offense and just nine first downs. Texas controlled the trenches, limiting the Cowboys to 1.5 yards per rush and amassing seven quarterback sacks.
It wasn't until the 9:02 mark of the fourth quarter that the Pokes got on the board when quarterback Daxx Garman connected on an eight-yard scoring pass to James Washington to bring the score to 22-7. The Longhorns answered with a touchdown on the ensuing drive to dash OSU's comeback attempt.
BLOCKED KICKS PART OF OSU'S ARSENAL
With five blocked kicks, Oklahoma State leads the Big 12 and ranks third nationally. Safety Jordan Sterns blocked a punt, defensive tackle James Castleman blocked a PAT attempt and defensive tackle Ofa Hautau blocked a field goal attempt, with all three of those blocks coming in the first half of OSU's win over Missouri State.
Three blocked kicks in a game set a Big 12 record and marked only the second time in NCAA history that a team blocked a PAT, field goal and punt in the same game. Oregon State accomplished the feat in 1996 against USC.
Sterns was also credited with a blocked punt at Kansas State and Castleman blocked a PAT against Texas.
NON-OFFENSIVE TOUCHDOWNS AN OSU STAPLE
Non-offensive touchdowns have been a regular part of the Oklahoma State attack in recent years, as the Cowboys have 29 non-offensive scores since the start of the 2010 season - a mark that ranks second in the nation during that span. With four non-offensive touchdowns in 2014 (Ashton Lampkin returned an interception for a touchdown against UTSA, Tyreek Hill took kickoffs to paydirt against Iowa State and Kansas and Ramon Richards returned an interception for a score at Kansas State), the trend continues.
NON-OFFENSIVE TOUCHDOWNS, NCAA LEADERS SINCE 2010
1. Oregon 31
2. Oklahoma State 29
3. Utah 27
4. Florida 25
4. Missouri 25
6. Oklahoma 23

SPECIAL TEAMS PERFORMING AT A HIGH LEVEL
Special teams have long been a strength for Oklahoma State under Mike Gundy. This year's squad ranks third in the nation in blocked kicks. Additionally, OSU is one of only 10 schools in the nation with two kickoff returns for touchdowns, ranks 10th nationally in field goals made per game and ranks among the best teams in the country in net punting, punt return defense and kickoff return defense.
PUNT COVERAGE UNIT GETTING IT DONE
Oklahoma State has been solid when it comes to covering punts, as the Cowboys allow only 3.43 yards per punt return to rank 11th nationally. The Cowboys allowed a 31-yard punt return against UTSA, but OSU's other 61 punts have yielded a total of only 48 return yards (0.79 average).
Consequently, OSU's net punting average is 40.06, which is second in the Big 12 and ranks 18th in the nation.
