STILLWATER – Oklahoma State welcomes several new freshmen to the Cowboy wrestling team. Okstate.com spoke with some of the athletes about their interests off the mat. Their comments:
Preston Weigel, 197 pounds
If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go and why?
"I would probably take a cruise to the Bahamas because it would be relaxing and a nice getaway."
What is your favorite wrestling moment?
"Winning the USA Wrestling tournament in Iowa this past year."
If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
"I would probably trade places with Chuck Norris because I liked watching his show when I was younger."
Who is the most played musician on your iPod?
"Luke Bryan"
Who is your celebrity crush?
"Carrie Underwood"
What do you like most about Stillwater?
"All of the food places."
Who is your biggest inspiration?
"My dad"
If you were a superhero, what would your superhero name?
"The Prestonator"

"Wrestling for Coach Smith."

"A jaguar. It's quick and can climb trees."

"Wearing wrinkled clothes."

"Baked ziti"

"The tradition and history."

"Being a father/husband and making money"
