Cowboys Head Into Big 12 Championships At No. 4

The Oklahoma State men's cross country team continued its season-long reign as the No. 4 team in the country in this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national rankings released Tuesday.
Saturday's team championship at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational also helped the Cowboys extend a 59-week-long streak as a top five team. Oklahoma State will take the ranking into the Big 12 Championships on Nov. 1, when the Cowboys look to win their seventh conference championship in a row.
In the women's polls, Oklahoma State dropped from No. 18 to No. 21 despite delivering a team championship of their own on Saturday. Heading into Big 12s, the Cowgirls trail only Iowa State and West Virginia as the top-ranked teams in the conference.
