Gade Takes 10th In Scotland

EDINBURGH, Scotland -
Oklahoma State's Noah Gade finished tenth in the men's junior 6K at the Bupa Great Edinburgh International Team Challenge, at Holyrood Park, in Edinburgh, Scotland, on Saturday.
It was Gade's debut representing Team USA after he was nominated by OSU coach Dave Smith.
“I think Noah did great for his first time in a race like this,” Smith said. “He hung tough with some really good runners. From what I saw, it looked like he kept himself in the race and was never too far away from the top two or three. He ran really well, and I think he will become a great contributor to what we're doing here.”
Gade's time of 19:27 was fifth among runners from the U.S.
