Cowboy Baseball Recruiting Class Ranked Fifth

TUCSON, Ariz. - Oklahoma State's 2013 baseball recruiting class is ranked as the fifth best in the nation by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, it was announced today.
The Cowboys' class is the first full group of recruits for second-year head coach Josh Holliday and his staff and includes 18 newcomers - 13 freshmen and five from the junior college ranks. The freshman class includes three players - pitchers Thomas Hatch and Garrett Williams and infielder Andrew Rosa - who were drafted in last June's Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.
"This is a very talented bunch of kids," Holliday said. "For our first recruiting class as a staff to put together this kind of talent in a very short amount of time is a huge credit to (OSU assistant coaches) Marty (Lees) and Rob (Walton) for how hard they've worked, as well as everyone on campus who made these kids' visits meaningful and helped gain their trust to get them here."
Collegiate Baseball ranked Florida's incoming class as the best in the nation, followed by Mississippi State, Florida State and Miami (Fla.).
