Juodeskaite Takes 10th In Europe

TAMPERE, Finland -
Oklahoma State's Monika Juodeskaite nearly ran a personal best in the 5,000 meters, finishing 10th at the European Under-23 Track and Field Championships, in Tampere, Finland, on Sunday.
Juodeskaite's time of 16:22.46 was less than five seconds off her personal best, and good enough for 10th place in the event.
Juodeskaite's top-10 finish, along with yesterday's performances from Tom Farrell and Nick Miller, gives OSU three combined top-10 finishes at the championships.
