IRVING - The Big 12 Conference and its television partners have announced kickoff times for the league's September football games.
Oklahoma State will open the season in the Texas Kickoff Classic against Mississippi State on Aug. 31. That contest will take place in Reliant Stadium in Houston with a 2:30 p.m. kick. The game will be televised by ABC Sports and ESPN2.
Conference USA previously announced that Oklahoma State's game Sept. 7 at UTSA will kick at 11 a.m. That game will take place in The Alamodome and will be televised by Fox Sports Net.
The Cowboys' home opener is Sept. 14 against Lamar in the final non-conference game of the season. That contest serves as OSU's "retained game" with the university to decide television plans for that contest.
