STILLWATER -
The Oklahoma State men's outdoor track and field team is ranked No. 25 in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association top 25, it was announced today.
This marks the third week the OSU outdoor men's team has been ranked in the USTFCCCA Top 25 since the poll began in 2008.
Individually, on the women's side, Kate Kujawa leads the way for the Cowgirls. After her personal-best 10:15.55 in the 3,000 Meter Steeplechase at Stanford, she is ranked No. 6 in the nation in the event.
Clara Nichols moved up to No. 16 in the 800 meters following her 2:07.31 at Stanford, which was the fifth-fastest 800 meters in school history.
Taylor Stolt is still in the nation's top 50 in the long jump, appearing at No. 38, and Chase Ealey holds the No. 37 spot in the shot put.
On the men's side, Taylor Monaghan broke into the top 50 in the 3,000 Meter Steeplechase at No. 12, following his personal-record 8:56.14 at Stanford.
David Osborn slid into the 10,000 meter rankings this week at No. 49, after his 29:51.76 at Stanford.
Nick Miller's hammer throw of 69.76m/228-10.5 at the Tulsa Duels would be the top mark in the nation, had he not thrown unattached at the event.
The OSU track and field teams will be split up again this weekend, April 5-6, with some athletes going to the Florida Relays in Gainesville, Fla., and some going to the Sun Angel Classic in Tempe, Ariz.
