- Phil Forte's three pointer with less than eight minutes remaining extended Oklahoma State's consecutive games of making a three-point field goal to 407.
- With four steals against Baylor tonight, Marcus Smart now has 62 this season, moving past Kansas' Aaron Miles and Missouri's Phil Pressey and into a tie with Texas Tech's Jarrius Jackson for the sixth-most by a freshman in league history.
- Entering the game, Oklahoma State led the Big 12 Conference in turnover margin at +2.6; against Baylor, the Cowboys finished with a +7 TO margin.
- Oklahoma State is 2-0 this season in overtime games. OSU defeated Akron 69-65 in OT in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
- The Cowboys outscored the Bears 19-2 in points off turnovers and 21-9 in second-chance points.

- Brian Williams scored his first points of the season tonight vs Baylor. He scored six points in eight minutes off the bench.
- Michael Cobbins recorded a season-high 13 rebounds against the Bears, one shy of his career best; he was one point shy of his first double-double of the season.
