Oklahoma State Cowboy Basketball
vs Mississippi Valley State
Friday, Nov. 8, 2013
• Oklahoma State improved to 81-24 (77.1%) in season openers and 93-12 (88.6%) all-time in home openers. OSU is 73-3 (96.1%) in Gallagher-Iba Arena openers.
• The Cowboys improved to 21-0 all-time against members of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
• OSU's 63 first-half points were just four shy of the school record of 67 set against Houston Baptist on Dec. 15, 1998.
• The Cowboys scored 117 points, the most since scoring 122 vs Northwestern State on Jan. 3, 2009.
• Oklahoma State's 55-point margin of victory is tied for the 10th-largest in school history.
• The Cowboys shot 61.3 percent from the floor, the first time since Jan. 3, 2011, the last time that OSU broke the 60-percent mark. The Pokes shot 60.9 percent vs UTSA that day.
• Cowboy junior Le'Bryan Nash recorded his first-career double-double tonight with 21 points and 10 rebounds. It is just the second double-figure rebounding game of his career, and he also scored 20 points for the 14th time in his career.
• Dating back to the game at Texas Tech last season on Feb. 13, sophomore guard Phil Forte has now connected on 31 consecutive free throws, just the seventh streak of 30 or more in school history. That string ranks as the sixth-longest in school history.
• Freshman guard Stevie Clark dished out a game-high eight assists, tying for the fourth-most ever by a Cowboy freshman and the most ever by an OSU frosh in his first game as a Cowboy.
