Cowboy Golf Signs Kristoffer Ventura

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's men's golf team has added the fourth member to its incoming recruiting class it was announced today. Kristoffer Ventura signed with the Cowboys this week and will join the program for the 2014-15 season.
"Kristoffer is a world-class player with loads of experience. He is well versed in match play and understands the team concept having represented Norway in various team competitions around the world. His combination of talent, experience, and personality makes him a great fit to complete our 2014 class." OSU head coach Alan Bratton said.
A native of Rygge, Norway, Ventura represented Norway at the 2012 World Amateur Team Championship where he tied for 13th place. That same year, he finished second at the European Nations Cup and won the French Boys Championship.
Two years ago, Ventura won the French International Boys Championship and posted a runner-up finish at the 2011 European Young Masters.
Ventura joins Edmond, Oklahoma products Nick Heinen and Hayden Wood as well as Wichita, Kansas native Sam Stevens in this year's class of signees.
