ESPN College Gameday Show Coming To Stillwater
November 17, 2013 | Cowboy Football
Nov. 17, 2013
STILLWATER - ESPN's College Gameday program originates from Oklahoma State this week, marking the fourth time that the Cowboys have hosted the wildly popular national pre-game show.
OSU previously hosted College Gameday for the 2004, 2008 and 2010 installations of Bedlam. In addition to hosting Gameday those three years, the Cowboys also played in the featured College Gameday game in 2003 (Bedlam in Norman).
The show travels to Stillwater Saturday to highlight the battle between No. 11 Oklahoma State (9-1 overall; 6-1 Big 12) and No. 3 Baylor (9-0 overall; 6-0 Big 12) that serves as a crucial matchup in the Big 12 race. Kickoff for the game is at 7 p.m. CT in Boone Pickens Stadium.
College Football Gameday airs live from 8-11 a.m. CT on ESPN.
Much more information including location of the set will be released as the week progresses.
In addition to hosting College Football Gameday this Saturday, Oklahoma State will host the basketball version of College Gameday on March 1. College Gameday has been to a campus site for both football and basketball in the same academic year only eight times. OSU and Texas are the only two schools which can claim that twice.
