Oct. 24, 2013
Oklahoma State Baseball wants to welcome all former players back to Stillwater for a weekend filled with food, fun, and memories. This program's excellence was built on the hard work of former players and will continue to reach new heights through the support of our alumni.
OSU head coach Josh Holliday and his staff want to show their appreciation for your dedication to Cowboy Baseball by hosting a weekend to celebrate your time spent on the diamond. The weekend will begin at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium on Friday, January 31st. Gift bags will be given to each former player filled with OSU gear, OSU basketball tickets, Eskimo Joe's drink tickets, banquet raffle tickets and more!
After gathering at Reynolds Stadium, the party will shift to Eskimo Joe's, where complimentary food and beverages will be served. Our party will have the upstairs atrium and bar reserved for the remainder of the night.
Saturday's festivities will begin with the OSU men's basketball team taking on the Baylor Bears at 1 p.m. The baseball program has reserved 50 basketball tickets (maximum amount possible) for our Alumni Weekend and will provide each former player with 2 tickets on a first-reserve basis (RSVP with Kelsi Jones at Kelsi.Jones@okstate.edu).
After enjoying the basketball game, we will hold our Second Annual First Pitch Baseball Banquet at the Wes Watkins Center beginning at 6 p.m. The Cowboy Baseball program will be restoring the OSU Baseball Hall of Fame for the first time in 10 years, and the banquet will also include a silent auction, raffle, team autograph session, dinner, season overview and fall highlight video.
In order to make this weekend a success we need your help. Please RSVP with Kelsi Jones at Kelsi.Jones@okstate.edu or by calling the office at 405-744-7141 by Friday, January 17th. Also, you can reserve a room at The Atherton Hotel for a discounted rate of $98 for Friday and Saturday night (just tell them you and your family are with BASEBALL ALUMNI). The Atherton Hotel at OSU is a full-service, historic, boutique hotel tucked into the hub of Oklahoma State University's campus.
The baseball staff is extremely excited to welcome the men who built Cowboy Baseball. Please come support your team during the Cowboy Baseball Alumni Weekend.
If you'd like further information about the weekend, please contact Steve Sabins at sabins@okstate.edu.
