Cowboys Set To Begin Play At U.S. Collegiate

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Oklahoma State's men's golf team will be back in action this weekend when it begins play at the United States Collegiate Championship at The Golf Club of Georgia.
The 54-hole event will run from Friday through Sunday at the par-72, 7,017-yard layout. Eighteen holes will be contested each day by the 15-team field. The individual medalist will receive an exemption to compete next June at the Web.com Tour's Air Capital Classic in Wichita.
OSU's lineup will consist of seniors Ian Davis, Talor Gooch, sophomores Wyndham Clark and Jordan Niebrugge as well as freshman Zachary Olsen. Senior Kevin Dougherty will compete in the event as an individual.
The Cowboys enter the tournament ranked seventh In the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings with Davis being the top-ranked individual, checking in at No. 15.
OSU is coming off a third-place finish at the Jack Nicklaus Invitational last month where Davis and Clark shared fourth place.
