KAPOLEI, Hawaii - Former Oklahoma State standout Willie Wood notched his second Champions Tour victory in the last three events on Sunday after firing a 66 during his final round at the inaugural Pacific Links Hawaii Championship.
Wood birdied the last two holes of his 6-under round to win by a stroke. Wood finished with a 14-under total of 202 and did not make a bogey over the course of his three rounds at Kapolei Golf Course.
The former Cowboy All-American began the day five shots behind Bill Glasson before rallying for his victory.
Wood won the Dick's Sporting Goods Open last month for his first career Champions Tour victory. His victory in New York was his first since his lone PGA Tour win at the 1996 Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic.
