STILLWATER - The Oklahoma State men's cross country team remained No. 2 and the women's team slipped to No. 24, according to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national poll that was released this morning.
The Cowboys earned one first-place vote to stay behind No. 1 Wisconsin. There were no major shake-ups this week as no one entered or dropped out of the poll.
The Cowgirls fell back two spots, primarily due to not running the past two weeks. Washington remains at No. 1 on the women's side, and Florida State moved to No. 2, while Oregon dropped to third. There were no other major moves as no one entered or dropped out of the poll.
Both teams return to action Sept. 29 when they compete in the Cowboy Jamboree held at the OSU Cross Country Course in Stillwater.
