:: Today's attendance of 56,062 marked the seventh-largest crowd in Boone Pickens Stadium history.
:: OSU is now 9-0 all time against Louisiana, including a 6-0 mark in Stillwater.
:: In his eighth season at the helm of his alma mater, OSU head coach Mike Gundy is 61-31. He needs just one more victory to tie Pat Jones atop the Cowboys' all-time coaching wins list.
:: OSU has won eight-straight home games, the longest streak in Stillwater since 1984-85 when the Cowboys won a school-record nine in a row.
:: Serving as OSU captains for today's game were Tracy Moore, Ryan Robinson, Shaun Lewis and Wes Harlan.
:: Sophomore center Jake Jenkins, redshirt freshman tight end Jeremy Seaton and redshirt freshman linebacker DeMarcus Sherod made their first-career starts for the Cowboys today. OSU has had 13 different players make the first starts of their careers this season.
:: With 65 points today, OSU has had seven games scoring 60 or more points in the last three years. The Cowboys have had 13 games of 50-plus points during that span.
:: OSU set a single-game record with 742 yards of total offense vs. Louisiana, surpassing the previous record of 725 vs. Baylor in 2010. The performance marked the fourth time in school history the Cowboys have topped the 700-yard mark.
:: The Cowboys' 96 plays also set a school record, besting their 95 vs. Texas A&M last season.
:: The Cowboys have topped the 600-yard mark in each of their games this season, marking the first time in school history they have started a season with three-straight 600-yard efforts.
:: The Cowboys also set a school record with 39 first downs against UL. The previous record was 36, set twice in 2010 against Baylor and Kansas.
:: Freshman quarterback Wes Lunt suffered an injury to his left knee on the sixth play of the game and did not return to the contest. He was 3-of-4 passing for 23 yards before the injury.
:: Redshirt freshman J.W. Walsh quarterbacked the Cowboys for nearly three quarters and finished 21-of-30 through the air for 347 yards and four touchdowns, all career highs.
:: Walsh also rushed for 73 yards and a score, giving him 420 yards of total offense. That total is the ninth-highest in a single game in OSU history.
:: Prior to this year, OSU had never had two different quarterbacks surpass the 300-yard mark in a game in the same season. But the Cowboys have now after Wes Lunt's 436-yard passing effort vs. Arizona last week and J.W. Walsh's 347-yard performance today.
:: Quinn Sharp's 51-yard field goal on the game's first drive was the longest of his career. The senior's previous long of 46 came last season vs. Louisiana.
:: Kye Staley's 52-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter was his second-career scoring grab and longest of his career. The senior fullback had an 18-yard TD catch vs. Baylor last season.
:: The Walsh-to-Staley 52-yard touchdown pass was OSU's longest scoring play of the season.
:: OSU had four scoring drives of less than two minutes against UL. The Cowboys have 17 scoring drives of less than two minutes this season and have accomplished that feat in 29-straight games.
:: Junior running back Joseph Randle notched a pair of rushing touchdowns vs. UL, giving him 30 for his career. He is the sixth player in OSU history to surpass 30 rushing TDs in a career.
:: Randle finished with 105 rushing yards, marking his ninth-career 100-yard rushing game. He has topped that mark in all three of OSU's games this season.
:: Junior Blake Jackson's 20-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter was the first scoring grab of his OSU career. He also topped the 100-yard receiving mark for the second-straight week, finishing with 112 after recording 105 vs. Arizona.
:: Sophomore Josh Stewart tied a career high with nine catches and two touchdowns, and his 104 receiving yards is a new career best. He had nine catches for 98 yards last week vs. Arizona.
