KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Oklahoma State senior goalkeeper AD Franch is one of 38 players on the Missouri Athletic Club's Women's Hermann Trophy Watch List for 2012, it was announced today by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
The Hermann Trophy is considered the highest individual honor in intercollegiate soccer, and the recipients are selected by Division I head coaches.
Franch's selection marks the sixth-straight year a Cowgirl player has appeared on the list. Franch made the list each of the last three years and was a semifinalist for the award in 2010 and 2011. She is one of two OSU players, along with former great Yolanda Odenyo, to be named a Hermann Trophy semifinalist.
A two-time All-American and three-time All-Big 12 First Team performer, Franch enters her final collegiate season with 32 shutouts and a 0.58 goals against average. She has led the Big 12 in shutouts in each of her three seasons and set an OSU record with 12 shutouts a year ago.
