Randle On Maxwell Award Preseason Watch List

STILLWATER, Okla.- Oklahoma State running back Joseph Randle is one of 65 players on the preseason watch list for the 2012 Maxwell Award presented to the nation's top player, it was announced today.
Randle ranked second in the Big 12 and fourth nationally in scoring per game (12.0 points per game), total touchdowns (26) and rushing touchdowns (24) en route to earning All-Big 12 first-team honors by the Associated Press in 2011. His 150 points scored ranks as the second-best single-season total in school history, trailing only Barry Sanders' NCAA record-setting 234 points in 1988.
As a sophomore in 2011, Randle carried the ball 208 times for 1,248 yards and added 43 catches for 266 yards and partnered with quarterback Brandon Weeden and receiver Justin Blackmon to win the inaugural Pony Express Award presented to the nation's best set of teammates.
