OSU Track Releases Outdoor Schedule

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State track and field program has released its schedule for the 2012 outdoor season.
OSU will open competition at the Tulsa Duals on March 17, where it will compete with Oklahoma, Oral Roberts and host school Tulsa. OSU will follow that up by travelling to Austin to compete in the Texas Relays March 28-30.
The squads will be split for the next outing on April 6-7, with athletes competing at either the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif., or the Don Kirby Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. The following weekend, the track teams will make the short trip to Norman to compete at the John Jacobs Invitational on April 14.
The next weekend will have three different competitions OSU athletes can compete in, with the Kansas Relays in Lawrence starting on April 18-21. The Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif., will be April 19-21 and the John McDonnell Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., will be on April 20-21.
OSU will travel back to Fayetteville for the Arkansas Twilight on May 4 for its final meet before postseason competition.
The Big 12 Championships, hosted by Kansas State, will take place May 11-13 in Manhattan. OSU will wrap up the season with the NCAA Championships. The first round will be hosted in Austin on May 24-26, while the finals will take place in Des Moines, Iowa, June 6-9.
