Oklahoma State vs Tennessee Tech

• With a 10-1 mark before Christmas, Oklahoma State has now started 10-1 or better in 8 of the last 12 and 10 of the last 16 seasons.
• The Cowboys allowed just 19 points in the first half, the fourth time in the last five games that the opponent has scored fewer than 20 points before intermission.
• Tennessee Tech had zero assists in the first half. The last time an OSU opponent had zero assists in any half was Texas on Jan. 21, 2008, when the Longhorns failed to record an assist in the second half.
• Phil Forte hit six treys against Tennessee Tech, a team season high. He has had at least two three pointers in five-straight games and has made at least one trey in every game this season.
• Forte scored a career-high 22 points today vs Tennessee Tech; his previous high was 17 vs N.C. State.
• Kirby Gardner recorded career highs in points (10), assists (7) and steals (5).
• OSU's 19 assists matched a season high.
• With four assists against the Golden Eagles, Marcus Smart now has 30 on the season. That moves him past Keiton Page (29 steals) and into fifth place on the OSU freshman steals list.
• Oklahoma State's 11 three pointers as a team are a season high and the most since the Cowboys had 11 against Kansas last season in Stillwater.
• OSU's defense held an opponent below 50 points for the fifth time this season.
• Oklahoma State's 38-point victory is the largest since defeating Northwestern State 82-36 on Dec. 31, 2007.
