Freshman Marcus Smart finished with seven assists, tied for the fifth most by a Cowboy frosh in school history. It is the most ever by a Cowboy freshman in a season opener.
Kamari Murphy had four blocks against UC Davis, tied for the ninth-most ever by a Cowboy freshman.
