Cowgirls Top Wildcats, 15-7

Oklahoma State's sixth-ranked equestrian team defeated the fifth-ranked Kansas State Wildcats, 15-7, Saturday at the Animal Science Arena.
"I'm very proud of the way the girls rode today,” coach Larry Sanchez said. “They were focused and gave a great effort from start to finish."
OSU's hunter seat squad defeated K-State, 7-4, with a 4-1 victory in equitaion on the flat and a raw score tie of 475-475 in equitation over fences.
The western team improved to 5-1 on the season after deafeating the Wildcats, 8-3, with a 5-1 victory in horsemanship and a 3-2 victory in reining.
OSU freshman Amy White received Most Outstanding Player in equitation on the flat with a high score of 80.
OSU sophomore Katy Krshka received Most Outstanding Player in horsemanship with a high score of 78.5.
OSU junior Jenna Blumber received Most Outstanding Player in reining with a score of 71.
Oklahoma State will have the next two months off before traveling to Tennesse to take on Tennessee-Martin on January 26.
