Cowgirls Among Nation's Best

LONG BEACH, Calif. — Oklahoma State had three players named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Women's National Top 100 Midseason Rankings, while four Cowgirls earned a spot among the website's top 20 players in the Big 12 Conference.
Highlighting the National Top 100 list, which ranks sophomores, juniors and seniors, was OSU senior All-American AD Franch, who earned the No. 5 spot in the rankings. The Cowgirls' all-time shutouts leader with 37, Franch has five shutouts this season to go along with 51 saves and a 0.85 goals-against average.
The next Cowgirl on the list was defender Carson Michalowski, who came in at No. 38. The senior center back anchors an OSU defense that has recorded 47 shutouts in the 87 games she has played during her career.
Senior forward Megan Marchesano was also tabbed among the top 100, coming in at No. 71. Marchesano leads the Cowgirls in scoring with eight goals and 18 points to go along with two assists and has moved into the top 10 all time at OSU in each of those categories.
The Cowgirl senior trio was also highlighted in TopDrawerSoccer.com's Big 12 rankings. Franch was listed as the conference's top player, while Michalowski came in at No. 4 and Marchesano at No. 11. Additionally, sophomore defender Miriam Rhinehart occupied the 14th spot among the top 20.
