Team Notes
Both Oklahoma State and TCU have the distinction of being reigning conference champions. The Cowboys won the Big 12 in 2011, with the Horned Frogs winning the Mountain West a year ago.
Going back to Oklahoma State's game at Kansas on Oct. 13, the Cowboy defense has allowed only four offensive touchdowns in its last 12 quarters of action.
TCU held a 14-3 lead at the end of the first quarter, marking the fourth time in as many games that Oklahoma State was either tied or trailed at the end of the opening stanza.
TCU held a 14-9 halftime lead. The Cowboys had only trailed at half twice this year - in its losses to Arizona and Texas. The last time Oklahoma State won a game when trailing at the half was Sept. 24, 2011, when the Cowboys erased a 20-3 halftime deficit to beat Texas A&M, 30-29.
The Oklahoma State defense held the TCU offense to five three-and-outs in the first half - the highest total for the Cowboys against an FBS opponent all season. The final game total of three-and-outs forced by the Pokes was seven.
When Wes Lunt found Charlie Moore for a 20 yard touchdown pass in the third quarter, it capped a five-play, 80-yard drive that took only 1:09 off the clock. That marked the 34th straight game that OSU has had a scoring drive of less than two minutes.
Oklahoma State entered the game leading the Big 12 in rushing offense with 254.3 yards per game. TCU entered the game leading the Big 12 in rushing defense by surrendering only 92.0 yards per game and had not allowed more than 164 rushing yards to any opponent this year. The Cowboys finished with 147 yards.
Similarly, Oklahoma State entered the game leading the nation with 605.3 yards of offense per game, while TCU entered the contest yielding only 313.4 yards per game. The Horned Frogs had not allowed more than 432 yards in a game this year. Oklahoma State had 368 yards at the end of three quarters and finished with 471 yards.
Oklahoma State forced a season-high three turnovers. The Cowboys have nine takeaways this season. OSU led the NCAA in turnovers forced last year.
Player Notes

The Cowboys played TCU without the services of injured QB J.W. Walsh and WR Tracy Moore.
Oklahoma State welcomed a handful of key players back into the lineup who had missed previous game action due to injury. QB Wes Lunt returned after sitting out all but one series in the last four games, WRs John Goodlett and David Glidden returned after missing the last two games and WR Isaiah Anderson returned after missing last game and RB Jeremy Smith was back after being severely limited the last two games. CB Andrae May made his season debut after sustaining an injury during spring practice.

Running back Joseph Randle's rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter moved him into sole possession of fifth place on the all-time OSU rushing TD list. Randle now has 35 rushing touchdowns and passed former standout Tatum Bell.
Randle has passed the 100-yard rushing mark in six of seven games this season. He finished with 126 rushing yards and a TD. Through seven games, Randle has 891 yards rushing and nine touchdowns.
