Cowboy Wrestling Begins Practice

STILLWATER—The Oklahoma State wrestling team held its first official practice for the 2012-13 season on Wednesday in the wrestling room of Gallagher-Iba Arena.

“I liked what we did,” coach John Smith said. “We're starting our year focused on getting better and more skilled. That always prevails in tough matches. I liked the intensity and the focus today. Our first day was a very productive day and a good start.”

The Cowboys will begin their season at the Lindenwood Open on Nov. 17. Dual action will start Nov. 25 as the Cowboys take on Penn at 4 p.m. in Stillwater.
