Oklahoma State Postgame Notes
• Oklahoma State is now 11-5 In league openers since the Big 12 formed in 1996-97, and has a 13-3 mark in conference home openers during that span. The Cowboys have won six straight Big 12 conference openers and 10 consecutive home league openers.
• Redshirt freshman Brian Williams started his first game in a Cowboy uniform tonight against Texas Tech. It marked the 10th different starting lineup that Coach Ford has used in 14 games this season.
• Freshman forward Marek Soucek scored his first collegiate points with a three pointer in the first half.
• With a 3-of-5 shooting performance from beyond the arc tonight, senior guard Keiton Page moved past Obi Muonelo and into second place on the all-time three-pointers attempted list. He also moved past James Anderson and into third place on the career three-pointers made list. Page is now 230-of-638 from beyond the arc in his career.
• Freshman Le'Bryan Nash tied his career high with 21 points. He set the mark against Tulsa earlier this season.
• Oklahoma State's two turnovers is a school-record low. The previous low — since the statistic has been kept starting in 1974-75 — was four, set against Marquette on Jan. 14, 1992, and matched earlier this season against Pittsburgh on Dec. 10.
• The Cowboys also set a school record for highest assist-to-turnover ratio with a minimum of 10 assists. OSU dished out 11 assists with just the two turnovers, a 5.5-to-1 ratio. The previous record was a 5.14-to-1 ratio, with 36 assists and seven turnovers against Langston on Jan. 5, 2000.
