Tostitos Fiesta Bowl - University of Phoenix Stadium - Glendale, Ariz.
:: OSU finishes the season 12-1, reaching 12 wins for the first-time in school history.
:: The win over the fourth-ranked Cardinal marks OSU's first victory over a top 5 team since the Cowboys defeated No. 3 Missouri on Oct. 11, 2008.
:: In seven seasons as head coach at his alma mater, Mike Gundy is now 59-30. The 59 wins is second on OSU's all-time coaching wins list, trailing only Pat Jones' 62..
:: Gundy has led the Cowboys to six bowl games, and OSU is 4-2 in those contests.
:: Serving as OSU captains for today's game were Brandon Weeden, Justin Blackmon, Jamie Blatnick, Markelle Martin and Quinn Sharp.
:: OSU junior wide receiver Justin Blackmon was named the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Offensive Player of the Game, while sophomore cornerback Justin Gilbert was the Defensive Player of the Game.
:: Blackmon had eight catches for 186 yards and three touchdowns, marking the 19th 100-yard receiving game of his career (seventh this season). That total ranks second all time at OSU, trailing only Rashaun Woods' 20 from 2000-2003.
:: Blackmon's three touchdown receptions tied a Fiesta Bowl record also held by Kansas State's Darnell McDonald (1998) and Florida State's Rhett Dawson (1971).
:: The three TD grabs by Blackmon also tied a career high. He had three twice during the 2010 season, vs. Washington State and Tulsa.
:: Blackmon caught two or more touchdowns six times this season and has achieved the feat 12 times in his career.
:: Blackmon has career totals of 252 catches for 3,564 yards and 40 touchdowns.
:: Senior quarterback Brandon Weeden broke OSU's record for passing yards in a bowl game with 399. The previous mark was held by Zac Robinson, who threw for 329 yards against Oregon in the 2008 Holiday Bowl.
:: Weeden recorded the first rushing touchdown of his career with a two-yard scoring plunge in the second quarter.
:: Weeden finishes his OSU career with 9,260 passing yards, 75 passing touchdowns and 9,110 yards of total offense.
:: OSU's 38-second, 67-yard scoring drive in the second quarter was its 21st scoring of less than a minute this season.
:: The 67-yard touchdown pass from Weeden-to-Blackmon marked OSU's longest pass play of the season. The previous high was 66 yards from Weeden-to-Josh Stewart against Texas Tech.
:: Senior safety Markelle Martin started the final 37 consecutive games of his OSU career.
:: OSU has completed a pass of at least 31 yards in 21-straight games.
:: OSU's first scoring drive of the game lasted 1:24. The Cowboys also had scoring drives of 38 seconds, 1:51 (twice) and 1:14, giving them 48 scoring drives of less than two minutes this season.
:: OSU added to its nation's leading forced turnover total, which was at 42 entering the game, by recording a pair of turnovers against the Cardinal (fumble and interception).
:: The Cowboys' 24 interceptions this season ranks second in the NCAA FBS behind only North Carolina State's 27.
:: Today's game marked the first time this season OSU has not scored in the opening quarter.
:: Senior wide receiver Colton Chelf recorded five catches for 97 yards, both career highs. His previous bests were 79 yards vs. Baylor in 2010, while he had three catches on five previous occasions.
:: Stanford had allowed just nine quarterback sacks this season entering the Fiesta Bowl. The Cowboys recorded two sacks in today's game.
:: Senior wide receiver Josh Cooper had seven catches against Stanford. He finished his career with at least one reception in 29-straight games.
:: OSU set a record for total offense per game in 2011. The Cowboys finished with an average of 545.8 yards per outing, topping the 1988 squad's total of 528.4. The Pokes racked up 7,096 yards of total offense this season.
