Sharp Secures Big 12, National Honors

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State kicker/punter Quinn Sharp was recognized today as the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week.
Sharp handled all of Oklahoma State's kicking duties in spectacular fashion as part of the Cowboys' 61-34 win over Louisiana. He was 4-for-4 on field goals (46, 27, 22 and 23 yards) and 6-for-6 on extra points. He averaged 50 yards on his two punts, including a 52-yarder with one punt inside the 20. He also had seven touchbacks on the Cowboy kickoffs. He has led the nation in touchbacks on kickoffs each of his previous two years on campus.
Additionally, Sharp was singled out as the College Football Performance Awards National Placekicker and National Kickoff Specialist of the Week for his efforts against the Ragin' Cajuns.
