STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State senior forward Sarah Brown has been honored by a pair of national online publications, earning a spot on the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week, Week 6 and being named a CollegeSoccer360.com Primetime Performer of the Week for Week 6.
Brown's accolades came after she led OSU to a 2-0 start in Big 12 Conference play last weekend. She recorded two goals and two assists in wins over Kansas and Missouri as the No. 2 Cowgirls improved to 13-0-0 on the season and extended the longest winning streak in school history.
In Friday's 5-1 win over KU, Brown notched OSU's first goal and recorded an assist on the Cowgirls' third score. In Sunday's 2-0 win over Mizzou, Brown played a part in both OSU goals as she notched an assist on the first before sealing the win with a goal in the 81st minute.
Four of Brown's eight shots on the weekend were on goal, and with her two assists, she now leads OSU with six, a total that also ranks fourth in the Big 12.
