- Quarterback Brandon Weeden established new school single-game records in three categories: passes completed (47), passes attempted (60) and passing yards (438). He held the school record in all three with a 42-of-53 yard performance against Arizona earlier this season and 435 yards against Baylor last year.
- Weeden's 11-yard TD pass to Justin Blackmon extended the QB's streak of games with at least one touchdown pass to 17-consecutive contests.
- Weeden has completed a pass of at least 30 yards in 18-consecutive games. He has thrown at last two TD passes in the last seven contests.
- Today marks the first time in school history that OSU has had three different players with at least 10 receptions – Justin Blackmon (11), Josh Cooper (11) and Hubert Anyiam (10). In fact, OSU had never had two players with 10 receptions in the same game.
- Wide receiver Josh Cooper established career highs in both receptions (11) and receiving yards (123), surpassing his 10 catches against Oklahoma last season and his 114 yards against Troy in 2010.
- With a 12-yard reception during Oklahoma State's second drive of the game, Cooper extended his streak of games with at least one catch to 21 contests.
- Wide receiver Justin Blackmon moved into third place on the career receptions list in Oklahoma State history. His 11 catches today against Texas A&M give him 169 In his career, moving him past D'Juan Woods, who had 163 from 2002-06.
- Blackmon's 121 yards today against the Aggies give him 2,492 In his career, moving him past Dez Bryant (2,425 yards from 2007-09) and into fourth place on the career receiving yards list.
- Wide receiver Hubert Anyiam matched his career high with 10 catches.
- Jeremy Smith's 13-yard touchdown run with 12:24 left in the third quarter extended his streak of games with at least one TD run to eight-straight contests.
- Senior defensive end Richetti Jones recorded his first quarterback sack of the season early in the fourth quarter.
- Linebacker Caleb Lavey recorded a career-high 10 tackles against the Aggies while cornerback Justin Gilbert did the same with nine stops.
- Captains for today's game against Texas A&M were #10 Markelle Martin, #13 Quinn Sharp, #19 Broderick Brown and #81 Justin Blackmon.
- Safety Markelle Martin started his 28th-consecutive game, the longest streak of any Cowboy.
- Oklahoma State extended its road-victories streak to seven games -- for the moment -- tying Oregon for the second-longest active streak in the country. Oregon plays at Arizona tonight.
- The Cowboys defeated a top-10 team for the first time since 2008, when the 17th-ranked Pokes defeated No. 3 Missouri in Columbia on October 11.
- The last time Oklahoma State gave up a safety was on August 31, 2002, when Louisiana Tech recorded a safety.
