STILLWATER, Okla. - The Oklahoma State football team hosts its annual fan and media day event at the OSU Athletics Center this Saturday. The pertinent information:
The Basics
Who: The Oklahoma State football and soccer teams
What: Fan Appreciation/Media Day
Where: OSU Athletics Center
When: Saturday, August 6. Fan Appreciation Day from 2-4 p.m., Media Day from 4:40-6:30 p.m.
Parking: Parking is open throughout campus on Saturday, so fans and members of the media can park in any marked spot on a first-come, first-served basis.
Schedule of Events
1:00 p.m. - Gallagher-Iba Arena doors open to the public.
2-4 p.m. - Fan appreciation day, with players and coaches signing autographs and interacting personally with fans. Members of the Big 12-champion Cowgirl soccer team will also be on hand. In the interest of accommodating as many fans as possible, please note that fans are permitted to have only one item signed and that the players and coaches will not be taking pictures. Free 2011 Oklahoma State football and soccer schedule posters will be available for autographs.
4:40-5:30 p.m. - Mike Gundy available to the media in the Gallagher-Iba Arena theater room.
5:30-6:30 p.m. - Requested players and assistant coaches available to the media in the Gallagher-Iba Arena auxiliary gym.
Finding Players During Fan Appreciation Day
The team will be divided into four zones during the autograph session, with one group on each corner of the concourse level of the arena. Maps will be available at the event showing the players and coaches designated for each zone.
Live Streaming of Media Day
Live streaming video will be available throughout Media Day and will feature interviews with players and coaches and members of the media. A box below the video will also allow fans to submit questions to players and coaches. Video will become available at 5 p.m. with OSU public address voice Larry Reece hosting the event.
