Football Opener To Be Televised By FCS

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's season opener against Louisiana on Sept. 3 will be televised live by the Fox College Sports Network, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. Central Time in Boone Pickens Stadium, it was announced today.
With FCS airing the opener, each of OSU's three non-conference games in 2011 will now be televised, as the Cowboys' clash vs. Arizona will be televised nationally as part of ESPN's Thursday Night Football package and the Pokes' tussle at Tulsa televised by FSN.
Oklahoma State and Louisiana met in Lafayette last season, with the Pokes outscoring the Ragin' Cajuns, 37-7 in the second half en route to a 54-28 victory.
