STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden hosted a social media chat Friday using the Weeden2Blackmon Facebook and Twitter pages. The full transcript:
Question From Chris-Cathy Simon: I know for me and my Son Tony, we can't wait for the Pokes season to start. What do u do, besides workout, and study, to pass the time before the start of the season?
Answer: I play golf here and there, try to spend as much time as possible with my wife, and I will be at the lake every opportunity I can!
Question From Beth Ann Jensen: Has the media hype put more pressure on you & Justin & the team to do well this season?
Answer: No I don't think it has. We are preparing just as hard if not harder than we have in the past because we still realize we have a lot to prove. We are trying to move forwards and not go backwards.
Question From Cori Brandell: What is your favorite part of game day that the fans don't get to see?!?!
Answer: The walk is by far my favorite. Other than that probably watching the highlight video from the prior game!
Question From Jason Sherman: Is this the year the D puts it all together? They have made huge strides under coach young but that seems to be the biggest knock on OSU's title run. Thoughts.
Answer: I think so. We have a lot of talent and leadership on that side of the ball. I'm excited to watch them continue to get better through the summer and fall camp
Question From Jason Sherman: Coming off the 11-2 season and now going through spring ball what's the attitude of the football team?
Answer: Very good. Everyone feels like we still have work to do. We are excited to get going.
Question From Maurie Reeves Overton: will Kye Staley get any playing time. who will be # 2 behind blackmon?
Answer: Ya Kye had a great spring. Behind Blackmon we have quite a few guys. Obviously Josh Cooper, Michael Harrison, Tracy Moore, Colton Chelf. I could keep going. I am excited about the guys we have out there making plays
Question From Lee Redick: What was the loudest moment in BPS you've ever experienced?
Answer: When Dan made that field goal against A&M
Question From Jack McMichael: Brandon - what was the hardest part of coming back to school and being a non-traditional student athlete?
Answer: At first the school stuff. But nothing really. I like the position I'm in
Question From Jerrod Lingle: Brandon, will this be the year you guys finally beat OU? I could die a happy man if y'all throttled the sooners!!!!!!!
Answer: That's the plan.
Question From Diana Ward: Brandon, we're looking forward to this upcoming season. Do you have any game day rituals that you do before each game?
Answer: Not really. One of my high school coaches used to tell me a joke before every game so we continued that tradition through last season and I would bet we do it again this year. I try not to be too superstitious even though I was when I played baseball
Question From Ben Hlavaty: As a team, what will it take for you to consider the 2011-12 season a Success?
Answer: I think putting ourselves in position to win the Big 12 and that means taking care of business every week. We know it won't be easy but we are looking forward to it as much as everyone else is!
Question From Cheryl Boese Pearce: What are your goals for this season? Besides 12-0?
Answer: Continue to get better. I'm not worried about having better numbers than I had last year as long as I can do what it takes to put us in the best position to win games.

Question From Shem Oliver: Brandon, I know you play golf...what is your handicap and how often do you get to play?
Answer: Around a 1 or 2. I played quite a bit during our time off but I've been focusing on football lately. But I still play if I get a chance

Answer: Obviously he is hard to replace but I wouldn't trade Randle or J Smith for anyone. Good backs who will make us better!
Question From @ThirdEyeMystic: What do you think of the improvement on the D? Often gets over shadowed by @Weeden2Blackmon #W2B BIG PLAYMAKERS!
Answer: They look good. We have some good young talent which is promising and Coach Young will put them in position to succeed.

Answer: I have too many to list honestly. Probably all verts. But it depends on the situation. Whatever gets a first down!
Question From @ThirdEyeMystic: what's your favorite part of the OSU facilities? Hot tubs, food, locker room vibe?
Answer: All of the above. We are privileged to have the facilities we have. It makes it nice to come to the field everyday
Question From @JenniCarlson_OK: #w2b We know your last OC's favorite beverage was Red Bull? What about your new OC?
Answer: Haha I dont know yet. I've only seen him drink Diet Coke. I'll find out in August when he is sleep-deprived!

Answer: We get together and run routes and throw as much as possible. Were good buddies off the field so its easy!

Answer: I think very well. Guys are preparing as hard as we have in the past realizing we still have a lot to prove.

Answer: We're excited for what is to come this season and we feel good about our chances. Nice to be in the top 10, but we want more.
