Postgame Notes vs. Nebraska
First Round, Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship
Wednesday, March 9, 2011
* Senior forward Marshall Moses is now 21 of 33 in his career at the Big 12 Championships, good for 63.6 percent. That is the highest career shooting percentage by a Cowboy in the Big 12 Championship with a minimum of 20 makes.
* Junior guard Keiton Page went 4 of 8 from beyond the three-point arc, giving him 18 treys in his career at the Big 12 Championships. That total ties for the most by a Cowboy, matching the mark originally set by Adrian Peterson and since tied by Glendon Alexander and Obi Muonelo.
* Oklahoma State's 53 points are the Cowboys' third lowest in a Big 12 Championship game. OSU scored 37 in the finals of the 1999 Big 12 Championship against Kansas and scored 51 in a loss to Texas Tech in the quarterfinals of the 2002 championship. It's the fewest points OSU has scored in a win in the Big 12 Championship.
* With five rebounds against Nebraska, Moses became the 11th player in school history to record 700 rebounds in a career. He also scored 10 points, moving his career total to 991, just nine shy of becoming the 35th 1,000-point scorer in school history.
* Today marked the first one-point victory for Oklahoma State this season. The Cowboys were 0-2 in the regular season in one-point games, falling at Texas Tech 75-74 in overtime and 67-66 to Texas A&M in Stillwater.
