Cowgirl Soccer Picks Up A Win And A Tie

Little Rock, Ark. - The Oklahoma State soccer team picked up a 1-1 tie against Memphis and a 1-0 win against Mississippi today in Little Rock, Ark.
In the first game of the day, the Cowgirls led Memphis in the first half with a goal from Kristen Kelley. In the second half, Memphis converted a penalty kick to tie the game 1-1. Adrianna Franch played the entire game in goal for the Cowgirls.
Against Mississippi, the Cowgirls couldn't find the net in the first half and were tied at halftime, but Taylor Mathews found the back of the net in the second half scoring her third goal of the spring season. Franch and Keely Kippenberger split the game in goal and were both credited with the shutout.
OSU returns to exhibition action March 26 when the Cowgirls travel to Norman, Okla. to take on Tulsa and Oral Roberts.
