Cowgirls Pick Up Two Wins At Home

Stillwater - The Oklahoma State soccer team picked up two wins today against Arkansas and North Texas with a 2-1 and 3-1 finish, respectively.
In the first game of the day, the Cowgirls came from being down 1-0 in the first half and winning 2-1. Sarah Brown scored the equalizer and Taylor Mathews followed by scoring the game winner. Keely Kippenberger played full-time in goal and turned in a solid performance.
Against North Texas OSU put a point on the board first with a goal from Kristen Kelley. North Texas tied it in the second half, but the Cowgirls answered with Carson Michalowski finding the back of the net from a cross by Mathews. Annika Niemeier scored the final goal to close the game. Kippenberger played the entire game again finishing with another great performance.
OSU returns to exhibition action March 5 when the Cowgirls travel to Little Rock, Ark. to take on Mississippi and Memphis.
