Team Notes
- Oklahoma State's point total Saturday was the highest for either team in the all-time series between the Cowboys and Red Raiders.
- Oklahoma State surpassed the 50-point mark for the sixth time this year and the 60-point mark for the third time this year. OSU has scored 52 or more points in each of its last three games.
- Oklahoma State's 10-0 start is the best in school history and means that OSU has now hit the 10-win mark in consecutive seasons for only the second time in school history (1987 and 1988).
- At 7-0 in Big 12 play, Oklahoma State set a new school record for conference wins in a season.
- Saturday's win was Oklahoma State's fourth in five games against Texas Tech. It also marked the first back-to-back wins over the Red Raiders in Lubbock since 1942 and 1944.
- Oklahoma State improved to 21-2 overall and 11-0 away from home with Brandon Weeden as its starting quarterback.
- Saturday's win completed the second consecutive sweep of the Big 12's Texas schools for Oklahoma State. The Cowboys have beaten Texas A&M, Texas, Baylor and Texas Tech in each of the past two seasons.
- Oklahoma State held a 35-0 lead before the Cowboy defense allowed Texas Tech to cross midfield.

- Saturday's game marked the second time this season that Oklahoma State scored 49 or more points in the first half. The Cowboys held a 56-7 lead at the half over Kansas.
- Oklahoma State entered Saturday leading the nation with 31 turnovers forced. The Cowboys added to that total with three turnovers forced against the Red Raiders.
Player Notes
- For the third time this season and the sixth time in his career, Brandon Weeden surpassed the 400-yard passing mark.
- For the second time this season and the fourth time in his career, Brandon Weeden passed for five touchdowns or more in a game.
- Receivers Josh Cooper and Justin Blackmon both surpassed the 100-yard receiving mark for the second time this year and the fourth time in their respective careers.
- When defensive lineman Cooper Bassett (a converted tight end) picked off a Seth Doege pass in the first quarter, he became the 10th different OSU player to record an interception this season.
- When Josh Stewart recovered a fumble for a touchdown, he became the 12th different Oklahoma State player to recover a fumble this season.
- When Josh Stewart caught a first-quarter touchdown pass, he became the ninth different Cowboy to record a touchdown reception in 2011.
- Saturday's game captains for Oklahoma State were linebacker James Thomas, offensive lineman Levy Adcock, linebacker Alex Elkins and safety Kyle Hale.
Streaks
- Saturday's win extended Oklahoma State's road winning streak to 11 games, the second-longest such streak in the nation.
- Saturday's win marked Oklahoma State's 11th consecutive win overall (home and road games). That streak is also the second-longest such streak in the nation.
- Oklahoma State has now completed a pass of at least 31 yards in 18 straight games.
- Quarterback Brandon Weeden extended his streak to 23 consecutive games with at least one touchdown pass.
- Receiver Justin Blackmon scored a touchdown for the 21st time in the last 22 games.
- Receiver Josh Cooper extended his streak to 26 straight games with at least one reception.
- Safety Markelle Martin started his 34th straight game to lead the team.
Records Watch
- Brandon Weeden's 423 yards passing set the sixth-best single-game mark in school history. He owns four of the top six marks in school history.
- Brandon Weeden's first-quarter touchdown pass to Josh Stewart brought his career total to 66, matching Zac Robinson's school record. His second quarter scoring pass to Isaiah Anderson gave him sole possession of the record. He went on to add three more touchdown passes in the game to bring his career total to 69.
- With three rushing touchdowns Saturday, Joseph Randle tied Terry Miller for second on the OSU single-season rushing touchdown list. He now has 21.
- With three touchdowns Saturday, Joseph Randle now has 138 points scored this season, moving him to third on the OSU single-season scoring chart, past Dez Bryant's 2008 season (128 points) and Justin Blackmon's 2010 campaign (132 points).
- Quarterback Brandon Weeden passed Mike Gundy for second on the Oklahoma State career passing yards list Saturday. He finished with 423 yards to up his career total to 8,168 yards. Gundy passed for 7,997 yards in his career from 1986-89.
- Receiver Justin Blackmon passed Hart Lee Dykes for second on OSU's career list. He finished with 103 yards to up his career total to 3,184 yards. Dykes had 3,171 receiving yards from 1985-88.
- With 106 receiving yards Saturday, receiver Josh Cooper now has 1,506 career receiving yards, which moves him from 13th to ninth on OSU's career list.
